Yes, it's true. There's not much here yet, but we're working on it. Here's a nice picture for you to look at, courtesy of the Nevada Historical Society. The view is from the northwest, looking to the southeast, so we see the backs of the buildings. The white house on the right side of the picture is the Superindentent's Residence which was built at the same time as the "Asylum" building, namely, 1881-1882. Some folks postulate that the fenced area of the photo was the location of one of the cemeteries, but given the location of the camera, I don't think so. It looks to me more like what was called "Asylum Road" and is still a street today (Galletti Way). It needs more research using old maps. Sadly, every single structure you see in this photo is now gone.
